Is CBD For Dogs – They Can’t Talk, But They do!

The thing to ask yourself does I really love my animal or animal’s that much, or are they really in that much pain. Is CBD for your dog I don’t know, only you know that and are you getting the right thing for him or her. In my opinion, the dogs are like people and they understand a lot of things that we don’t they will tell you when something is wrong.

They have a mind of their own I think they know when to let you know when something is not right or even hungry. We all want to baby our animals like our kid’s and if you have kid’s they become part of your family just like that.

Everyone gets old sometimes right. Like humans, they get arthritis as well, or are in a whole deal of that you don’t know of pain they just can’t tug on your shirt and say “hey I’m in pain do something quickly. We are going to dig through some interesting topics all about is CBD for dogs and why it is great to provide your animals with the best care through CBD. Ask yourself are my dogs asking for my help or are they spoiled.

Is CBD For dogs

Only they know and you can always tell with dogs they will act funny out of the ordinary and not be themselves. Maybe they have separation anxiety, or they are in pain. Do you keep them outside, or do they run free in your house? Are they trained? A lot of questions can be asked before you know the answer.

That is a big question are they trained enough so that you can know when they have an issue or a problem with anything that is not ordinary? You have to pay attention to your animal’s they will give you clues as to and when they are sick or don’t feel too well they really have some sort of human-like mind’s.

They have already made CBD facts to say it helps with many disorders such as hip dysplasia, Chronic pain, Certain types of cancer, Epilepsy, and seizers in dogs. And although your animal does not have to suffer from any kind of disorder for it to benefit your animals or companions.

CBD treats have zero THC in them so don’t worry if you think they are getting “high” their not. They have all these products that will not hurt you or your animal. It is something that has to be read up on for some people. So read away we will give the responses why you should heal your animals, and why they thank you.

How Much Do I Give Them

It is recommended to give them as needed as of what you are trying to treat the animal with. If they are suffering from any kind of pain than a daily dose should be recommended at least every 8 hours or as needed. For any other disorders such as anxiety or behavioral issues than you should give it to them once or twice a day for introduction to the new medicine.

Then you should be increasing it every week if they show no improvement or did and went back to the same thing or still in pain. Like humans, everyone gets old and starts to be in pain and ache but dogs can’t complain to us about their problem would that be nice or what.

The CBD will not hurt them if you overdose them with it and a big majority of other CBD holders has zero to a little trace of THC, humans are not harmed by THC but the dogs for some reasons are very sensitive to THC toxicity contains less than 0.3% THC in CBD products.

CBD has no life treating side effects, unlike other medications that are used to treat other elements in the body. This does not mess up their organs or throw off their GI tract (gastrointestinal tract) where the food is processed and turned into energy and nutrients in so many words.

If your companion is not feeling too well and has the possible minor side effects

  • drowsiness
  • temperature
  • diarrhea
  • walking funny
  • shakes
  • dry mouth

So if your dog is acting funny and can’t shake it off with whatever symptoms they may have and CBD is not working. If it worsens than go to the vet and let them see what is wrong. It would be out of your hands by then it’s nothing simple anymore, we all love our animals like our kids we do anything for them?

Are They Getting The Right CBD

This is where the reading is going to be the most beneficial to your well-being and animals. Your animal is going to let you know if the right treatment is working, you will just have to really watch your animal. Then you can spot when they are acting differently and when they are feeling better.

I think that if you really care about your animal you should know when they are not feeling good or if the dose is right. And by that, you can determine if the dose is right if you need to higher, it or lower it.

Many things come to making your dog feel itself again. Like us we don’t want to take medication so do you think that your dog is going to let you put that tincture in their mouth nope. They might think you are trying to hurt them so try to either put in the mouth, or you can put it in their food if you have a smart one on your hands.

You just have to give your dog some love and care that it always needs. They will thank you later trust and believe that they are there for your needs as well there are healthcare dogs that are trained to help people. So why not return the favor and make them feel better than well.

  1. Very interesting, I didn’t know you could give dogs CBD. I like how you determine the correct amount by how your pet reacts after the dose, and monitoring. There are a lot of us dog owners out here, so you have a large audience to market to. Good luck.

  2. Hi! It’s good to know that they have zero to a little trace of THC. Yes, I have read that THC is dangerous for our dogs.

I lved in the city all my life and I had no dogs there. But about 4 months ago I retired and came with my wife to a property we own in the countryside. There are two dog here in the property and they seem to be suffering. A neighbor here suggested we research a bit about a treatment to make them feel better. But I really wouldn’t know if this treatment is doing them good or not. What should I look out for? What would be strange behavior? Thanks iin advance.

    1. If you have never seen them before, then you should probably take them to the vet so they can get the full check-up. But if they look like they were doing good, and they are just dirty and hungry then feed them and get some tinctures and give twice a day. This could be for dogs that are just in good health & bad health and need to have the energy this could rejuvenate them back to normal and healthy again. and keep them up to date on the doctors if anything further advances or nothing you cant treat yourselves.

Thanks again any other questions would love to answer but there is the lovely internet also if we can’t help.

      cheers

  3. Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is a type of chemical naturally found in cannabis. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it’s nonpsychoactive, which means it won’t produce a “high.

As at the last time I checked there are no CBD products approved by the FDA for use in animals — as a drug or as food. Given that, this article will cover current research into CBD use for dogs, as well as explain the possible risks and benefits to help you make an informed decision.

  4. We have a senior dog and sometimes I wonder if she has pains as she licks her paws quite often and is sometimes a bit distant. I would love to try CBD oil for her but only if it’s from a manufacturer that tests for THC absolutely correctly because as you stated THC can be toxic to dogs. That’s why I would actually prefer to use a CBD product that’s been tested safe for animal use and prescribed by a vet. That said, I live in a country that is very up tight about anything cannabis related so I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon. CBD is classified as a pharmaceutical and all forms of THC containing compounds as street drugs. Well, there are couple of THC products that a doctor can prescribe but they are controlled substances and the doctors basically risk losing their license any time they prescribe them. So they don’t. I hope the green wave will hit EU hard and the outside pressure will force our nation to adjust the legislation. I live in Finland in case you’re interested…

  5. Great article! I do not own a dog currently, but had several dogs before I got married. I agree with you that dogs will usually need some kind medication or something or the other as they age, possibly even before. Natural medicines are usually much better for the dog than other medicine that could harm the organs. Keep on writing!

  6. It is a great idea to think about CBD application for especially older dogs, as it can certainly help restore their quality of life, to at least a certain degree. It is also good to know that CBD oil contains a very low percentage THC, which will avoid THC toxicity in dogs. However, I must confess that I will find it quite funny to see how a dog reacts that gets high on THC lol.

  7. I had no idea that this could be used to help dogs. Very informative post indeed. When I was growing up we always had at least three to four dogs in out backyard. Never once did I hear this. You have shared valuable information and I will be getting more from your site.

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. Well we hope that we have provided valuable information to everyone we want to make sure that you understand the benefits and the ins and outs of the CBD world. And how it benefits you in different ways just not your dogs you as well there are great things to read and different articles.
